Calligraphy avec nous - September Workshops

"Calligraphy is the art of producing beautiful handwriting using a brush or a special pen."

There is no other Calligraphy class in Brussels that teaches this art and we are happy to announce the first series of classes in July. The teacher will be Claudia Nocente, Graphic Designer. The full training is composed of 3 workshops, spread over different weekends to allow participants to practice between workshops and build on the previous exercises. The topic of the workshops:

1. Introduction to brush calligraphy: basic strokes and intro to building lowercase letters;
2. Uppercase letters and connections ;
3. Numbers and symbols + stylizing letters and words.

Each workshop is 3 hours long, with maximum 10 participants each.

The price includes:

1. A handmade practice book, a set of 2 brush pens, extra exercise paper, tracing paper, a list of materials and where to buy them, all inside a nice, personalised canvas bag;
2. Drinks and snacks during the workshop.

Special offer: Each workshop costs 55€, if you bring a friend, you will have 10% on the second ticket. You can register for all workshops together for a reduced price of 150€ instead of 165€.

Disclamer:

The workshops will take place with a minimum number of 5 people. In case of less participants, we don't cancel the workshops but will try to change the date to fill the room and have the minimum number. This is important for the preparation of the teacher. We ask you to bear with us while we will try to find the best date in such case.
